What are the differences between Padi and Naui?

The differences from one instructor to the next will greatly outshadow the differences from one agency to the other.

In other words, the agency doesn't matter, the instructor does.

The same as the difference between an Arturo Fuente and an H. Upmann. :D

PADI = Professional ************s Drowing Innocents

NAUI = Not Another Underwater Idiot

All meant in fun :D

Seriously, both agencies teach roughly the same things, though they make a bit different path & approach to get there. The difference in the instructor doing the teaching is more important than which letters are on the course.

Upmann has NOTHING on the Fuente Fuente Opus X! :)

The difference is two letters, their basic philosophies/reasons for being, and the number of divers each certifies. I'm simplifying a bit, of course. :D

PADI = Pay And Dive Instantly.
