I haven't been on Wetpixel for awhile, and I just noticed that I won "Picture of the Week" 8 weeks ago (#92). Here is the link.

PATIENCE!! I spent about 10 minutes on the shot. I was diving solo, and no one else was around, so I did not bore my buddy or block anyone else from a good view and/or picture (no shot is worth being rude and selfish). I inched closer after each shot. Oddly enough, it did not seem to mind all the strobe firing (I probably took about 10 shots total) - I guess it was totally into being cleaned.

My only regret is that I could not get the cleaning goby more prominent in the picture (you can just make it out partially blocking the lower large tooth on the left edge of the mouth.) Also, I guess if I tried to go with a smaller aperture, I might have gotten a bigger depth of field and gotten the coral in the foreground in focus. All things considered, I am of course very happy with the shot.
