I found this a while ago and have been reading up on it.
It is a DPV like any other, except it has two screws and has straps for your feet.
They say it is not meant for divers, but I think it is perfect!

Besides , I can see a lot of trouble you can get into being pushed at 5 knots , head first ... a DPV you can let go of , how long does it take you to get your feet off of this thing (even though there not strapped onto it) and at that speed , DCI is just a heartbeat away if you do something wrong

That is not a whole lot less money than scooters with considerably more capability.

This thread spurred a childhood memory for me.....does anyone else remember a cartoon called "Marine Boy"? He could breathe water, and had underwater propulsion boots.
