I picked up an OMS 45lb wing, and have not dove it yet.

How does this wing work with a single tank? It is made for a single... but I have heard that the OMS wings are a tad oversized and tend to wrap around the tank, etc..

I got it for almost nothing.... so I thought I would give it a try.

Thanks to anyone who takes time to answer.

the taco effect. If I dive singles with a 45 lb wing (not very often as I have a BC just for singles) I use the highly controversial spreader plate, which keeps the wing flat! Works quite well for me.

Here ya' go, more replies about this very topic than you can shake a stick at, including the controversial spreader plate...

Roak

But the OMS 45# bungee wing that I have here tucks nicely around a single tank with no problems.
