Holiday Isle Tiki Bar (around Islamorada) is fun too and quite a bit closer to KL. Hobo's is also good for quick eats and drinks (they may be closed now though; condo fever :\ )
You might want to watch the weather before you come to the keys this weekend....
BUT if you want the most fun, Key West is pretty much it.
