For the next contest.....I would like to see two different categories.....

Touched and untouched. It's not fair to compare an altered digital photo to a photo from film. It's a whole different skill set that should not be compared to each other.
 
Great suggestion, the only problem is it would have to be on the honor system as I just recently read and article by the British Underwater Photography Society (or something like that), that even professional photographers can't tell if a digital pic has been altered or not, or even if a photo is film or digital.
 
Canon does have software to determine if any alterations on digital photos has taken place. Mostly used in legal cases.
