CoCo View - Roatan - Jan 28 thru Feb 4

Hello there... I posted this in the Central America Trip forum too, but since we're leaving from Florida I thought it might get more noticed by other Conchers...

We are going on this trip to CoCo View on Roatan in January, and there's still some room left on the trip, and I'm trying to help my friends fill the trip up... There's room for about 10 more people to go. So far the only other SB member I know who is going is ScubakevDM.

The dates of the trip are January Saturday 28 - Saturday February 04, 2006, I heard that the return flight leaves in the afternoon on Saturday, which leaves the Friday morning boat dive as a safe option to dive.

The trip includes seven days of resort accommodations at CoCo View Resort, two boat trips (four dives) a day, unlimited beach diving, three meals a day, and round trip air fare from Miami. All this for just $1550. For unlimited Nitrox, add $100.

If anyone is interested in going, please PM me, or post here ASAP... The deposit is $200 and is due right away... The final payments are due in mid December.

This will be our (mine and Michelle's) second trip to CoCo View, and if you've never been there before, it's AWESOME! Just read the positive reviews here.

If I can pull out 1600 bucks and some spending cash I would definitely love to join you guys, but at this point it looks like a very slim possibility.

You don't need much spending cash... Unless you plan on leaving CoCo. Just tip money is pretty much all you need, and the money for the "departure tax" from Honduras. We did 25 dives the last time we were there...

I was in Fantasy Island [ just across the channel from CoCoa View ] in Sept. Awesome dives. Even got a chance to ride in the jump seat of the Airbus 320 from TACA Airlines.
