Does anyone still use the Nikonos 3??

Yes.

All the best, James

Hello Frenchy:

I now shoot digital, but if I need to travel light my Nikonos IIIs with the 15mm Nikor and a small strobe (50mv or 125) sure beats the pants off of having no camera at all. Yes, it will still get use.

I still use my Nikonos III and SB105 on dives that are too deep for my digital camera's housing.

It's the ultimate in simple and reliable and I suspect if there is ever a nucluear war or asteroid strike, some mutated cockroach will find and put my still functional Nikonos III to good use.

I use Nikonos II's. Talk about a heavy metal camera. Works well for me.

Jim

Yeah I have one myself just seeing if I was alone, but appears not to be. Anyone know of any good books out there that talk about how to use one and talks about techniques etc...
