Was wondering what every one was using for the their stage bottles? alum or steel and what sizes. i use 80's and alum 40's for all my exteded range and trimix dives..Interesting to me as I see so much variance!

Aluminum 80's for stages and travel bottles, al 40 for wreck deco, steel 72 (old ones) for cave deco. I use the 72's because I can do a couple of decent dives on the same o2. I use an octo on my o2 reg occasionally as one of my buddies is habitually draining his 40 and asking for more o's than he's got. Cheap bastard!! :D

Luxfer 40s, MOD 70/20

AL40,AL80,some seriously old 72s and now my buddy wants me to start getting used to bigger steel stages for longer runs.AL80 most commonly tho.It gets me 2 dives in 15-30 min range ...re-rigging on a rocking boat is a PITA .
