Water temp will average around 74 but could go a little colder. I've seen people diving with as little as a 2m suit and as much as a dry suit during that time. I use a 5m and hood in Jan.

Good Diving,

Panama City is over 600 miles north of the Florida Keys. Land temps can range some 20to 40 degrees difference. That distance and land temp difference can play a big role in the water temp difference. Our water temp today on the reef was 77. Getting chilly.

Good Diving,

Super, thanks. I just wanted to re-calibrate towards the Keys, as that's where I'll be Christmas week. 70 or above is a 5mm core warmer for me, while if it was more mid-60s I'd take my full 5mm.

Thats alright...

I am hitting Key Largo in February with my Dry Suit....
