The Last Days Until Wreckmania!

Hi Divers:
We have anywhere between 36 and 48 hours untill we arrive at Wreckmania.
Some last minute thoughts.
We never talked about tipping.
I asked Walter what he usually does.
He said he gives Brian our Wreckmania Divemaster about 5.00 per trip day. Let's see if I worded that right ..if he does two tanks in the morning and Brian helped him, he gives him 5 bucks. If he goes out again in the afternoon with two more tanks.. yes, another 5.
This is only a guideline.
If Brian doesn't really help you, and you feel Pete, or Mike the other instructor helpers, helped you more, then they would be the ones I would tip.
So another words you might want to bring another 30.00 or so depending on how much you dive, for tips.
Just thought I' d bring this up, so no one is embarrassed and forgets to bring tip money.
Of course this is always up to you and the services you feel you recieved.

There's nothing to be nervous about. We'll have a blast! You'll be working some, but mostly, you'll be enjoying the diving and the company.

I am a travel agent, I can travel to many many places, I will go to the Red Sea for a diving trip in August BUT...
... I wish to be there with you !!!!

Natasha did a great job organizing this trip, Walter will do a fantastic teaching job and all of you will make the best company !!!

I hope that in one of the following trips I will be able to do it and cover the distance from Greece to meet you and have a great time !!!

Inform us please in which forum are you going to post the daily reports from Wreckmania ? In the Group trips or somewhere else ????

I'd like to join Manogr in wishing you all a great trip. You're going to have such a wonderful time meeting folks who you only know through your keyboard. Trust me, they'll be just as they seem in real life. And I betcha there's not an ax murderer in the bunch! I know some of your normal friends have mentioned that one. :eek:

Dive safe, dive hard and have lots of fun. Oh, and would someone please take notes and pictures? We need to keep Pete and Mike in control when they return and those photos will help! :mean:

Too funny that you mentioned this. The guys who work for me are wondering if they should call and check on my every day to make sure I am still alive. They already think the fact that I talk to you guys all the time on-line is a little strange. The thing that is most humorous to me is that all of them are Software Engineers. You would think they would be a little more progressive than the normal population about the power of the computer.

I will take lots of pics for you and promise to give full trip reports if everyone else is too busy diving since I am maternaly challenged at the moment.

Thank you, ManoGr, Socal, and Aqua. That was very nice of you all.
I hope we can someday meet and dive together.
This trip will be very safe. I have talked to the resort and no one will be able to get in while we are there, unless they are on the manifest.
By the way this is the third party I have hoted from all on line people. And I'm kinda have an on line inner sense, since this is the way I met and married my husband. Yep, selling him a trip to Belize! Imagine that. :)
It's going to be a blast indeed.

I admit I am a little (ok, more than a little) envious - out here in the middle of the Pacific, it's a little harder to get over to the FAAAAR side of the country to meet up with the rest of you guys. :)

Post some pictures when you return of your excellent adventure - a big group shot of everyone will be really nice to see!

I don't want to sound like a meanie..but as I said security for this trip is tight. I have already submitted the final counts and manifest of who is going to wreckmania and who the guests are that are cleared to go.
Please continue to post on the board, let us know you more, and then consider Wreckmania II which will also be in Florida next year.
And by the way thanks for asking..that was especially considerate of you.
