Diving in Montpellier and Estarit

Hi everyone,

I've decided to go dive in Montpellier and Estarit on my short trip to Europe and I wanted some feedback from divers who have been there. What kind of dives can I do ? What are the prices ? What kind of conditions ? Is the crew friendly ? And is december a good time to go diving there ?

There are some diving club around Montpellier (Palavas, la Grande Motte, Carnon). Prices around 25€. Usually, shallow water and poor visibility.

Estartit : usually closed between november and march.

l'estartit is open all the year, are a many diving center's, the price is 28€ (+-).
I'm a spanish, and live near the l'estartit.

Yes, like xavi_g says there is any diving center in L'Estartit that is open in winter, we, Oceansub-Estartit for exemple is open all year, if you want information please go to www.oceansub.com
