Any expreriences with the Apeks Surelock system when mounted to a backplate?

I am thinking about trying this.

Does LeisurePro or another discount online supplier carry this setup?

Its probably too new for LP to carry it. LP isn't an Apeks dealer, instead they pick up a lot of liquidated stock from distressed LDS's, so you'd have to find an LDS that was in good enough shape to order the newest/latest/greatest and then need to turn around and dump it, all within a few weeks. I'd guess you're 3 to 6 months out from seeing it on LP.
