I'll be heading down to South Beach for a few days next week (Dec 26-28) and was looking to get some diving in. Could anyone recommend a charter in that area? So far I've found South Beach Divers ( http://www.southbeachdivers.com/ )doing a dive on the 26th that I'm interested in. Has anyone done a dive with them before? Just thought I'd ask around before I booked it. Any insight would be greatly appriecated! I would like to stay in that area close to our hotel. Thanks all!

I can't recommend A SoBe charter, but try the diving in Palm Beach on the way south. Check out my friends at www.oceanquestscuba.com. PB has great reefs and wrecks with usually great vis. Also, had some whale sitings the past few weekends (you never know). They run a 12 passenger Island Hopper with the best captains and crew in South Florida. Have a great trip and Happy Holidays.

South Beach Divers doesn't own a boat - they just charter seats wherever they're going. RJ is ok and is located right there off Alton Road south of the I-395 feeder.

Thanks all. Going to call RJ's in the morning and check them out! I'd like to get some dives in at PB, but I'm sharing an suv with 4 others who aren't diving. Limited to how far I can go!
