Oregon coast .....diving opinions wanted

I am headed to Corvalis, Oregon in Aug.

Are there any spots along the coast close to there that would be good for diving?

If there are dive shops that are great to dive with that are in that same area, would like to know that too.

Also looking for a spot that might have seals or other cool things to see
I'm ready for the Neoprene challenge

Are you flying or driving out here on your trip? the reason I ask is that there are spots in between that you can hit that I am sure you would like, if you are driving.

Sorry, I am not up on diving at the coast, hopefully I can find out myself soon though. Corvallis is still two hours from the coast by car, so plan on taking some time for travel.

I'm driving out.
There's alot of beautiful coast along the way.
I thought I'd go to Portland and drive the coast down then cut back over to Corvallis.
