Just got a bunch of new equipment for xmas- the whole enchilada, BC, Reg, Suit, etc etc....anyhow does anyone know where I can checkout my equipment in a pool in the Dallas-Ft Worth area? Just moved here a month ago. Going diving in the Bahamas in couple of weeks and I dont want to try all this new stuff out on the boat.

have you looked in the phone book for a local shop or municipal pool that allows diving? If a LDS has a pool on premisis I would think that they would have it listed in their ads. If the equipment was bought locally the I would think they would be happy to let you try it out. If not you'll probably have to pay a small fee for the priviledge.

You might check out the local pools, and see whether they either allow scuba, or have a time which is reserved for kayaks. Here, the two are mixed, and when the kayakers are allowed in, so are the scuba divers.
