Can anyone give advice on any good lakes around the Leech Lake area of Minnesota. I will be up thier around June 16th and for the first time going to bring equipment.
Sure would like to hear about any hot spots.

yea baby yea leech lake is a sweet lil dive, my dad owns a cabin up on 10 mile lake. all the lakes up there are fun to dive. stoney lake is worth the time, but stick to leech and 10 mile lake.

I know that it's past the 16th but 10 Mile lake is just south of Leech and is VERY deep and has good (relativly) vis. There are also some pits by Brainard that are good to. I heard that there is a train in the botton of Leech lake.
