hi all,

am a newly minted Advanced diver..so thinking of getting a dive comp to reward myself :)... in no hurry though...
anyways, am pretty familar with the stingers and aladins pros,
but as i was surfing thru the net, i came across this Japanese site with this cool
dive computer...
problem is i checked thru the net, googled and stuff, and i cant find any info on it!!!
i fear it could be a sold in japan-only dive computer....
so am wondering if any of you experienced folks out there have seen this before?
its called a scubapro cross ...
i just hope it isnt some cheapo dive computer lookalike watch, but from the photo,
it looks too well made to be so..

i do hope some one out there have seen/knows abt it, becos its really driving me
nuts no being able to find information on it...cos it really looks funky and cool!!!
tks in advance k!!!!

cheers

It looks a LOT like something Seiko had a few years back called the Nitrox B. U. G. - there was a plastic case version and a titanium case version, they were functionally similar to the Dive Rite NiTek C from what I can tell. I saw an olive green plastic case B. U. G. come across eBay some time last year. However, from the display area the Cross you put pics up of may be air-only.

The only place I can find some text still on the Nitrox B. U. G. is on the Dive Link web site, and their link to the B. U. G. watch is now broken apparently.

Found a few references, but no pictures. The high price was for the titanium version I think.
