I was a great Limelighters fan--they did not have the "look back in those days and, so, they did not have the popularity of the KT. But they had better voices and were more creative.
My late wife and I went to two of their concerts when we were undergrads (and, once again, I date myself) and loved the Limelighters--but we also went to hear the KT and enjoyed them, as well. And I certainly did dress like the KT--still have an affinity for button-down collars!
