I have a friend, Jan, whose son is a DM in Port Moresby (her husband is a botanist for PNG's Customs Service/Dept. of Agriculture. She is a member of a Pediatric Cancer support group I belong to and is currently in Brisbane, where her daughter is being treated)
Anyway, Port Moresby has a "rap" as a lot of big cities in that part of world do, but the diving is supposed to be first rate and most divers don't spend time in the city. Her and her son posted me a few times with some wonderful tales of the great diving they enjoy in that part of world.
I haven't corresponded with Jan in a few months, so I'll post her tonight and ask her if her son is still working there and about the operation he works for...which is land based, I think........
Heck, I 'm jealous...I never get to go anywhere like that.....
