SKBRDVR1 February 1st, 2006, 03:09 PM The diving in St Maarten stinks unless you can get over to Saba which is usually out of line with the cruise ships timeline. In St. Thomas, Underwater Adventures is a good op and right on the docks. Once again, they cater to the cruise ship timeline, so it make be a quickie. cleung February 1st, 2006, 04:44 PM There are some dive operators in St Thomas that even offer pickup from your cruiseship dock. Forgot the names but do a search and you will find them. They make this offer on their websites. Joe wjbrandt February 2nd, 2006, 12:19 PM I work for Chris Sawyer Diving Center in St Thomas sawyerdive@islands.vi We would love to have you come and join us for a dive. The web site gives you very good info as well as our toll free number. Wayne BurBunny February 3rd, 2006, 01:06 AM I usually skip diving in St. Maarten. If you do go out, the cruise ship vendor seems to be a good option (which is usually not the case). In St. Thomas, I like Chris Sawyer and Blue Island Divers. I also go out with St. Thomas Diving Club, but they're definitely not for everyone. All three will make accommodations for cruise ship divers.
