Underwater Education & Training Center of New England, Inc., (UETC), a 501(c)(3) educational organization based in Billerica, Massachusetts announces the second round of available scholarships in the Jim Sands Memorial Marine Educational Scholarship program.
Scholarships are awarded to one high school senior for obtaining or advancing their diving certification, up to $500.00 and to one college UNDERGRADUATE (except freshmen) MAJORING in the marine sciences. (Students with a minor in marine science do not qualify, sorry.) The college scholarship award is up to $1,000 and is for US citizens studying in the United States.
