Anybody know a easy way to slide those hose protectors on your hoses up at the 1 st stage??

The easiest way to install or remove hose protectors is to put the hose protector in hot water for a few minutes. It will slide on or off easily then.

If you removing a hose protector, take care that you don't fill your hose full of water (during the heating process) without knowing.

I generally just take mine to the bathroom sink and run hot water over them for a couple minutes.

The easiest way to put them on is to use a tool like this one and some spray silicone. Otherwise, just use some spit and elbow grease. If they are the thick hose protectors it might help to toss 'em in some hot water to soften them up a bit.

Then do yourself a favor and leave them off! :D
Exactly , just install them in the trash can . They are not needed

If you do end up using them, move them away from the hose end when you clean the regs, to get all the saltwater out of your hose fittings.
