I have a Nikon D70 and wondered if it was possible to use the LCD to view shots prior to shooting them. Currently I can only see them when I snap the picture and I have to use the viewfinder to frame the shot.

thanks

No, it is not possible. When I first got a D70 after having used an Oly C5050 for quite a while, it took some getting used to, but after a while, it was not an issue. I actually prefer composing my shot through the viewfinder now, when given the choice. I tend to get a better feel for what the lens is focused on with the viewfinder than an LCD screen. I even find that when using a camera that allows viewing on an LCD screen prior to shooting that I instinctively start looking through the viewfinder anyway.....

Very interesting...
