Anyone have any info and pics on hos to rig my 19 cu in pony on my side, like a stage or deco bottle?

I have the follwing materials and want to rig it:

1/4" Polypro cord
SS hose clamps (s)
Bolt Snaps (2)
1/4" ID clear plastic tubing

How does one tie the rope around the neck of the tank and affix the bolt snaps? Any particular way?

Dive Rite has a PDF file on stage bottle rigging - but most of it talks about using THEIR kits to do so....

Can anyone help on this?

although i dont like the way he rigs it on the bottom part of the tank, feed a knot through the boltsnap so the knot prevents the rope from sliding through the hose clamp.

or have a look here

this should get you there, i am lazy and i just bought the rigging kit from extreme exposure :D

Sweet,
Thanks...I bought 1/4" poly pro rope on the suggestion of the dive shop. is this OK?

Thanks all,
I was doing it pretty much right - except I hadn't figured on the cord being doubled as your web sites show. NO biggie - I just have to get some 1/2" ID clear plastic tubing today and I'll be good to go.

I have to get some small diameter inner tubing though yet for the hose clamp.

:)

haven't dove it yet though...

Dove it... I definately am happy having it as a stage bottle. Their were only a couple of issues, and I'm sure the DIR folks are going to get a _big_ kick of this one.

I had trouble bringing my console around my body to stay flush. I ended up clipping it to the D ring on my belt. I need to get a shorter hose for it there, and my compass is a piece of crud anyway, so the console'll be replaced with a simple SPG soon.

My octo couldn't cross my body , as it was sort of hidden/confugled with the pony bottle. back on the right D ring there is way too much hose looping out. Time for a shorter hose and... *sigh* bungied around my neck.

Damn it.. I hate that they are right! :)
