How odd. I, too, am at 243 today, down from 251 only 5 weeks ago.

Do you have a set goal?
 
I'm hoping to get to 225. I would really like 210-215 but I'm realistic :wink:
 
My goal is 235, then when I get there, to make 220. The trick is to set reasonable, small steps rather than one giant goal that looks unattainable.

Are you doing anything special? I'm watching what I eat pretty closely using a free site called www.fitday.com. I've also upped my workout regimine.

I was 225 last spring, so I know I can get there...

Portion control and increasing my activity level. It is easier as the weather gets warmer. I may start riding a bicicle to and from work. It is only 10km or so each way.

My aim is to lose 1-2 # each week. My wife makes up my plate and stops me if I take thirds. We call her the "diet na*i."

The method is crude but it works.
