Anyone using the new Suunto Dive Manager 2.3.0 and having any issues?

On occasion when I boot it up there is odd visual bugs normally cured by a restart. Anyone getting anything strange with it?

I also cannot find where to change the profile untis from metric to imperial. Anyone know how to do this?

I woud love to search but I am on a shared 33.6k dialup shared with 4 computers, it took me 30 minutes just to get this posted.

Thanks for your time

I don't know which computer you are using with it but I would strongly suggest using version 1.6 if it's possible. The Ver 2 might look a bit prettier etc but most folks talking about it on SB have nothing much good to say about it. I always find it hard to believe how companies such as Suunto come up with the software they do. Luckily their dive computers function a lot better! :D

I had the exact same visual problems with v2 of their "software" as well. I bumped back down to 1.6 and haven't had any more problems.

same here.... 20+ years in computers and i was stumped... their interface is about as intuitive as........ BUT the folks at SUUNTO are real good at actually answering email tech request.... i had the same problem, fired off a SUPPORT, and got this reply

Dear Sir,
Thank you for contacting Suunto.

Once you click on the desired unit, it will become blue which means
that it is now selected.

With Best Regards,

i cannot seem to change the UNITS. it is currently in METRIC. the HELP
portion says
=======================
Settings: Select either metric or imperial units for depth,
temperature, weight, pressure and volume by clicking on and highlighting the
desired unit.
=======================
but these items are not SELECTABLE. they are just in a little box to
the right of my name (which is selectable) and my default cylinder (which
has selectable fields of SIZE, UNIT WORK PRESSURE) and language (which
is selectable)

so therfore....

goto the USER - there you will see the SETTING / PERSONAL / DIVE LOG / PRINTING

what ever is in BLUE is what the UNITS are... so if you want BAR or PSI simply click on BAR or PSI and it will turn blue.

voila

Thank you for the quick responces, i appreciate it. Already had 2 worms try and wreck my computer while atempting to solve this. Damn Saudi internet!

Thank you again and good diving!
