Hello Everyone!

I'm just wondering about this, not that I'm going to buy one. But how much should one expect to pay for a affordable air compressor? It doesn't have to be new and it can be at the bottom of the range. Thanks!

I don't know about Singapore, but in the US, you can get a new compressor that can fill an AL80 in about 30 minutes for just under $3000 US including shipping. I've also seen used compressors on ebay for as little as $1000 US plus shipping (probably in the range of $300-400 US).

I don't have any links handy but the small (non commercial) units start at about $3000. Your choice of gas or electric for fixed or portable use. I do also recall that the required filters added considerably to the cost to operate.

Used of course will open up lots of options and risks.

It seems to be something you buy because you need to more than want to.

Pete
