Poll on when & where you purchased first reg

How much change is occuring in where scuba gear is purchased? I want to focus on regulators as they are the most service intensive piece of scuba gear most divers own. By "LDS", I mean a shop where you walked in and did over-the-counter business (even if it also has a significant internet presense). And I hope to also get a sensing of how important it is to be the customer's training shop when it comes to making that first big retail sale.

I'm not quite certain what the difference is between the final two choices. In case there is one, I purchased my first regulator through special order at the BX in 1980.

BTW, I like the purpose of this poll. I expect to see a trend over the years from LDS, other LDS, to other (internet).
