Trading up from my Cobra to a wrist-mounted Vytec DS, which will mean gving up my Suunto compass mounted atop the Cobra.

Alternatively, is there a source for Suunto parts wherein I could

1.) remove the SK-7 from it's mount to the Cobra
2.) add the "cobra only" top to the cobra unit
3.) Mount the SK-7 in a housing that can be snapped on to a d-dring

Thanks in advance - Ray

find the local aqualung / SUUNTO dealer in your area and ask if he has an extra "COBRA ONLY" top stashed under the counter. they usually have a few hanging around from upGrading.....that's how i found 'mine'. i did the exact same thing you described above.

Deep Sea Supply sells an awesome SK-7 housing - designed for wrist mounting, but you could always string a smaller bungie or cable tie off it to a bolt snap for your d-ring purposes.
