I am looking to buy an old Scubapro dive timer (time, depth, temp), but the owner says the battery is not replaceable. I find this hard to believe, but I thought I would ask here first. The model # is SG-12.

I have got an old DC-11. The unit is sealed and when I bought it the idea was that when the battery got low you returned it to a dealer.I think the expected battery life was about 3-5 years. Mine is at least 12 years old and is still going but unless you are getting a real bargain I would go for something with a replaceable battery.
