I just dove that wreck on Saturday. Its awesome. Around here its refereed to as the "Tiller" wreck 'cause it has an 8ft tiller instead of a wheel. Its leaing on its starboard side, and the masts have fallen. Apparently the lakes turned recently. It was 66 deg. at the bottom and the viz was only 20 feet. Normally its much colder with awesome visibility.
It was a great dive. I got down to 106ft (not quite to the sand).
If the weather cooperates I plan on doing this dive as a night dive. That should be cool :)

Thanks for the report -- always good to hear from someone who's been there.

Next time I should bring my gear when I'm in the neighbourhood then!:)

Absolutely... The only problem is getting out there. You might want to call Dan's Dive shop. www.dansdiveshop.com They organize charters.
I took my own boat out. It was a rough with 1 m waves, but it worked.. of course you could just send me some e-mail and maybe we can go out together... I like excuses to dive :)
Gotta run..
