A friend of mine will change his dive computer adn his offering his to me.

Its an Aeris 750GT hoseless nitrox computer.
I dont dive nitrox but i can make both and I think ill take nitrox later this year.

Does anyone recommend this pruchase.
Im fairly new at diving. But I dont have a bottom timer and I prefer spending 300$-400$ on a dive computer(wich gives you the bottom time) than 150$ on a bottom timer.

Any comments?

I have all my gear except a dive comp and tanks(wich I rent)
And batteries on the 750GT are user changeable.

If he is charging you 3-400 then just buy a new computer. For a little more you can buy a new computer with similiar features. The used price on a 750GT from a friend should be about $150 IMHO and a bit more from ebay or someone you don't know. Good luck with your purchase!
