It seems like every few years someone "finds" the Marquette & Bessemer #2 off Long Point, Ontario only to never be confirmed. Seems strange a 350 foot long steel car ferry could be lost in the shallowest of the Great Lakes since 1909.
Anyway, in my 30 years of diving that is one dive I want to make before I die since on that November night 95 years ago when she went down, my great uncle and namesake was her captain and his brother was her first mate, Robert and John McLeod.
If anyone has information on her being found, I would certainly appreciate hearing about it.
