I have the Versa Pro. The XR2 is a smaller diameter version of the Atmos 2. I have seen an XR2, and believe that the display is "darker", and the numbers are smaller. Look at the pictures on the ScubaToys website and you will see what I am talking about.

yeah, the XR2 is basically the upgraded (and more expensive) Atmos 2

if you can find an Atmos 2, buy it. same computer. much cheaper.

i think the only differences are cosmetic. i had no trouble at all using
the Atmos 2, and the display was nice and big

Thanks for the link. i was looking at that for a while but i like the idea of the backup analog pressure guage and compass on the consoles. i've been looking around and have been only able to find the atmos 2 for about $600 while im finding the XR2 for about $430. That seems to be the trend in the console setups.

Thanks, Doug, that was helpful. It seems like so many people have wrist setups. i wonder if that is the way to go (Hint, hint:))

I have brand new Aeris 2 for sale. It is wrist mount and come with everything from manufacture. Let me know if interested.

I would go with the Atmos 2 if you can find one. Both are good and all you need in a computer.

just got my xr2 from scubatoys.
got it for the same price as the atmos 2 plus scubaboard discount.
it's my first computer and I have no complaints!

Wrist mount is the way to go. Get an Atmos 2 from Larry at scubatoys for 10% off their already low price. I have only a very small pressure guage instead of a console and much prefer it to a big chunky console.

Less is more... :D
