sweet looking M2 has all the M1 functions plus extra
I plan to get it.
it is pretty new, anyone has this one and want to write a review?

I am torn between the Mares M2 and the Suunto Vyper. Vyper is a tad more expensive, but the DSS boot looks very attractive. As far as the DSS boot, where does one find the bungie cord needed?

Other than price, what does the Mares M2 offer over the Vyper? thoughts?

I had a Mares M1 and found it to be very conservative when compared to an Aladin. It broke after 10 dives and I returned it. Leisurepro has the M2 for $280, but check that.

I don't like the M1/M2 anymore and bought a veo 250 instead.
omg I love veo's big screen

Just got the M1 and am NOT diggin' it. :( Could this thing have harder to push buttons...and I can't even get it to switch from metric to imperial. :heavysigh:

y, o y didn't you wait for the M2 to come out....

Push buttons are what broke on mine. Mares makes nice masks and fins, but I won't have the rest of it.

Anyway, I haven't even used it in water yet so I'm checking in to exchanging it for something better...here's hoping for different/better. :thumb:
