suunto vyper battery

Hi,
I just got the low battery signal for my suunto vyper.
I was wondering if I can change the battery myself or
if I need to have the LDS do it. I lost my instruction
manual where I am pretty sure I could have gotten
the answer to this question without posting. Thanks.

Then you need Plan B / alternative manual ;)

Google "how to change Suunto Vyper battery ?" or something similar.

look at manual from suunto web site

buy battery at radio shack

install same

it's pretty easy, i used needle nose pliers to turn locking ring
make sure mating surfaces are clean form debris so no leaks!

Definitely a DYI job. Just make sure the o-ring is clean and don't overgrease it.
