I am considering starting a southern safari from Marsa Alam in July/August.

However, rumors in Israel claim that Israeli passport holders won't be allowed to board on liveaboards anywhere south of Sharm. Other rumors say it is only for single divers and does not apply for organized groups.

Does anyone knows whether there is any authority or place to check if such a regulation exists, or whatever restrictions exist?

Any recommendations for operators in this area? I'd like to start inquiring... :eyebrow:

I could ask for you but what is the case? Are you coming alone or with a group?

Thanks! I'll do whatever is needed. If an organized group will allow Israelis to board on M.Alam, then I'll force some friends to join, get the ferry from Sharm to Hurghada and then arrange something to M.Alam.

I think that I can arrange a group of 10-14 divers committed to a southern safari, assuming the authorities allow such a thing :14:

I asked about the permissions. There're some restrictions but it's doable. PM sent.
