View Full Version : Marsa Alam suit thickness query
sharkboh June 6th, 2006, 08:24 AM Hi Guys, Im off to Marsa Alam next week and wondered what suit to take? i have full length 3mm and a 5mm semi dry. Any ideas? i tend to get cold towards the end of long dives, water temp i expect to be around 26-27°C. Cheers Steve Red Sea Shadow June 6th, 2006, 09:08 AM I recommend taking the 3mm suit. Water temps in Dahab was about 23-24°C so if it's warmer in MA, you might be OK with your 3 mm and maybe bring a hood. roturner June 8th, 2006, 04:11 AM If it were me I'd definitely take the 5mm suit.
