Hi Guys,
Im off to Marsa Alam next week and wondered what suit to take? i have full length 3mm and a 5mm semi dry.
Any ideas? i tend to get cold towards the end of long dives, water temp i expect to be around 26-27°C.

Cheers

I recommend taking the 3mm suit. The water temperatures you expected are correct.

I was diving in Dahab last week and was good with my 5 mm...maybe a 3 mm would have been OK but after diving everyday, I get cold too and was happy with my 5 mm. Water temps in Dahab was about 23-24°C so if it's warmer in MA, you might be OK with your 3 mm and maybe bring a hood.

If it were me I'd definitely take the 5mm suit. I would freeze my butt off with the 3mm, expecially making long dives (more than an hour) and/or diving frequently.

Definitely 5mm semi dry.
The water temp. is around 23C and if you going deeper it can reach 21 - 22C.

Water temp in June won't be less than 25 or 26.
