I'm thinking of doing bi-monthly daytrip monday dives to Anilao. I've had no time to dive on saturdays, and family/church obligations get in the way on sundays.
First trip set up is for June 26th. Dive Resort planned is Ocellaris Dive Resort. Fee is Php 1,800.00 inclusive of two (2) boat dives and lunch. Free room use to grab a nap and shower. Nitrox 32 is Php 250 a tank.
We already have three (3) people signed up. Please PM for additional details.

Did I mention that driving to Anilao on mondays is not a hassle, unlike weekends? Only 2:15 hours each way.

i dove on a tuesday. we were the only divers in the entire anilao. nice feeling. monday should even be better

entry and exit was possible only behind the resort, so it was the same dive done at different depths to provide variation.

Guys.... Does the Balai fee include the DM and use of a room?
Ocellaris includes this and the use of a room for the day.
If anyone wants to hitch a ride with me, they'd have to meet me in Makati.

I had a customer come on Monday who had lost a cressi rondine fin AND his suunto mosquito computer on the same shore dive last saturday. Both had less than 5 dives on them. Rainy season is not the best time for shore dives no matter what the price. We need a boat to get to the places that are calm AND clear. :coffee:

FWIW Gordon, Balai may not be the best place to start a dive during the rainy season. Waves plaster that exposed side of Anilao. You need a cove like place to safely board a banca. Sunbeam, Aquaventure and Maharlika are the best bet.

it's officially OCELLARIS as it's the best option considering distance, traveling, accomodations, decency of food, etc etc etc...
meeting place will be at SHELL MAGALLANES (time to be announced) so those who will hitch with gordy will meet there and be dropped off there at the end of the day

sound catchy, s Boy Venus still there. what source of exiting dive at anilao. graduating from resort 16 yrs ago.never been back coz not like to drive to diving. unlike PG, LaUnion n Subic where u can take public bus to diving, I use to did that even in N n S of cebu. Pls include d transport or gasoline fare. enlightenme pls.
