My husband and purchased 4 days ago 2 of the Veo 250 computers from Scuba.com (they happen to be in the same city as us). When we turned them on for the first time the night we purchased them we noticed that one of them had a 40 degree temperature discrepancy (it was saying 45 degrees while the other was saying 85, which was about the accurate temperature). We took it back to Scuba.com yesterday and the temperature was reporting normal (Murphy's law at work). Yesterday evening when we took our refresher class in a pool it was recorded that the temperature was in the 40's again, while the other one worked fine and reported temp in the 80s (at least now we have proof that the temp is wrong). What worries me is that Scuba.com told us that if there's a problem that they may have to send it back for you to repair, but the reason we purchased it is for a dive trip to the Bahamas in less than a week. I read that you told someone else that if they have a defect within 30 days that the dealer can just swap it out for a new one, should they be able to do this for us? Thanks for your help!

If a new Oceanic product has any problems in the first 30 days after purchase the dealer is authorized (and we hope they will) switch the unit out for a new one with no questions asked.

Give me a PM if I can help in any way to get this sorted out.

I'm so glad that Oceanic has the 30 day express replacement policy. We were able to get a new computer and in 2 days we'll be happily diving in the bahamas. :) Thanks again!

I'm very glad it worked out.

Best,

Chris
