Hey a couple of us are planning a twilight dive tomorrow at Scorpion Bay, probably followed by a night dive. Meet up at 5:30-6pm @ Scorpion Bay if your interested.
Dive-aholic:
Directions:
Exit I-17 onto Carefree Highway (exit 225?) and head west (left) for about 12 miles.
Pass the 1st Lake Pleasant entrance. That's the marina. You want to go into the entrance 2 miles later.
Turn right onto Hot Castle Springs Rd. Follow the signs to the entrance.
Turn right onto the main park road.
Pay the $5 entry fee.
Keep going straight [your on N. Park Rd. see map] until you come to Peninsula Rd. on the right (the road narrows after this so you can't miss it).
Turn right onto Peninsula.
You'll go around some bends in the road. When you come to the part of the road that widens up and has a yellow lined median, slow down and get ready to make a hairpin left turn. This is Dirty Shirt Rd. [There is now a sign on the corner for a new Marina].
Turn right onto a dirt road after about 100ft.
Follow this dirt road [past the port-o-potty's and down the small hill] to the water.

This is Scorpion Cove, aka "the wall".

PM me for more info if you need it!

Well it was windy as he!l, the cove looked like the friggin ocean with [wind] waves rolling in, so we hung out till about 7, the wind started dying down but we thumbed it anyway, not worth it, everything was probably stirred up anyway, we'll set something up again after the 4th.

Hope nobody showed for the night dive; alone at least
