I have recently completed my open water diving and am now a PADI certified diver. I live up in the northeast (Connecitcut), and am looking to start my own collection of personal gear. The first thing that I am looking to buy is a BCD. The LDS as well as most dive shops in/around this area are very helpful, but i figured i would ask here first.

To give you some information about me and the gear i am looking to purchase:
I am 5'10 and am athletic (my body fat % is around 12.7) [used to be lower during swim season/baseball season...but college+beer..you know the rest]...and i am slightly negatively bouyant.
I weigh 175, and my measurements are 34 waist, and a 42 shoulder.
I am looking to spend anywhere from 300-500 on a 'solid' BCD. I do not need the latest, or the newest models of gear, but would like something that is tailored to my body type (athletic), that can withstand the Northeast as well as warm tropical waters. Year round i will be looking to dive in temperature ranges from 55 degrees F to 85 degrees F (when i go on my vacations). I would prefer a BCD with metal clips (seems more likely hold up in New England). I also would like to have the integrated BCD/Weight system (my rental gear was very crappy it was always seperate). I have looked at the scuba pro knighthawk, and really like the look of it, but again that is one of the first models that i have checked out.

Any of your input is welcome, so please let me know what you would recommend.
