I like the format best on these two sites.

http://www.saltwatertides.com (good format but a pain in the *** to navigate each time to East Pass (Destin).

Chucks Dive World over in Niceville has a easy-to-click site & good format

The site I like to use for tides is the one that contains the official NOAA tide tables:
http://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/ge...thh=-0&thm=27&tlh=+1&tlm=20&hh=*0.46&hl=*0.46

As you probably know, the Destin Jetties are great for snorkeling as long as you go around high tide when the water is clear and the currents are minimal. I was in Destin for 12 days earlier this month and had a great time snorkeling the jetties. You may be interested in viewing some pictures I have taken there:

One thing you should be aware of this year is that, because of last year's hurricanes, the finger jetty has become quite sanded-in. If it's a calm day and you are a good snorkeler, there is still plenty to explore off the end of the finger jetty and along the main jetty that extends out into the Gulf. However, if it's rough or you have small kids, there is now very little sheltered area inside the finger jetty that is snorkelable. If the snorkel boats are there, this small area can become quite crowded. Hopefully as time goes on, more sand will eventually wash away.

Hope this helps.

Very nice pictures Dave.

I'd stick with the Chucks Dive World site, I've found its the easiest to read and understand for the tide charts.

Nice pics there. You got some pics of some stuff I've never seen there before, like the eel.

Knight1989 was the one who told me about Chucks tide page. It works great and is the quickest to get to and easiest URL to do.

Thanks for the help. We went to the jetties last sunday and it was great. The water was perfect and we saw alot of fish and crabs. Thanks again.
