I have a data plus computer (actually two of them) and currently have it on a wrist strap. Is there a boot/retractor setup that I can use for this? I am not thrilled with the wrist strap right now, it is a pain to put it on over my 7MM wetsuit but I don't want it in my console either (redundancy, I keep the regular gauges in the console).

I found wrist mounts (boots) that would take bungee rather than the straps. Works real easy and still keeps it in the best place. Best one I found was an old scubapro boot from an 80's depth guage that I picked up on ebay.

Your other option is the hose mount Oceanic makes (made??) for the older hockey pucks. Kind of like the wrist boot you already have, but with a clamp that screws onto your HP hose.

Or you could start with that boot and tie it on a retractor.

thanks for the ideas. I have been looking at the hose mount boots and may go that way.

Update

I went with the hose mount and put it on a retractor. I love it! A little pricey solution but it works great.
