Went to the Moulton Quarry on Saturday for a quick dive.

It was very cold!! I had a 3mil suit and 30 feet was all we could handle. After our dive I was told that they are thinking that a new spring has opened and is now dumping very cold water into the quarry. The first thermocline now seems to be around 20 feet with another around 30 feet.

Aother diver told me around the bus on the deep end was now between 45 and 50 degrees. Too cold for a 3mil suit and me. So we stayed on the shallow side and it was much more bearable

Vis was horrible as we were there about 3:00 and it was probably 5 feet down to 6 inches.
