Just got a B2 this weekend. Will test it in the pool tomorrow night Put it on my pony to see how it feels and noticed it was real loud particularly on exhaust. Seems like something is vibrating a lot. Is this common above water with the B2's?

Yes it is very common. It is designed for use under water. What you are hearing is the exhaust diaphram without the presure of water on the other side of it, don't worry it is fine.

It's really common on many regulators when used above water. The water dampens the vibration in water.

Thanks - just was a little nervous after spending all that cash. Rescue class in the pool tonight will give it a try wet!

I've been diving a B1 T2 Atomic for years and it's not any louder than any other reg. You bought a great piece of equipment!
