Perhaps you could expand this a little bit so I can understand what you are talking about. I didn't think there were very many mountains around Peterborough.

Thanks for the link. Being a geologist I found it interesting. I'm also surprised I haven't heard of it having lived nearly 45 of my 47 years here in Ontario. Sounds like a boring dive according to mddolson though. Oh well.
 
I dove there, its a giant sink hole. I made it to 68 feet the entire bottom is like a strange clay bottom if you touch it the entire area moves up and down. Do not I repeat do not settle down on the bottom as you will be sucked down.
