Tanks used for paintball

I think the fittings/valve is different. you might have to change that to get it to fit a yoke/DIN regulator.

Is it one of the fiber wrapped tanks? If so you might not want to since it'd be so positively bouyant.
 
Many paintballers use generic AL 80's to transfill into the tanks attached to their guns.

If this is the case all you need is a VIP and a scuba tank valve (as they valve they use is different).

If they are using some other type of tank, it depends on the thread and also the tank material as very few hoop wrapped tanks are suitable for scuba diving - and even then they are not a great idea.
 
I was practicing with an AL 80 at my LDS, when I was leaving, a paintballer bought the same tank.
