These regs are similar, but given a choice, which would you choose? The Apeks has been desscribed at length on this board, but has compared to the Aeris.
Aeris AT400 + Atmos Pro or Sport?? (the pro is pneumatically balanced...is this going to make a large difference in breathe-ability?)
Apeks XTX 40/50 or ATX 40/50...the XTX option of changeable exhaust tees sounds like a perk, but I don't need the left vs. right-handed configuration. The ATX is also tempting b/c it is lighter. What is the price difference b/w a 40 and 50?
I am looking for a reg that is environmentally sealed, good in cold water (40-50F), durable, easy to service, breathes easy at depth (past 100 or 150 feet), has a comfortable mouthpiece that is not too heavy.
